Torbel^® 5 mg

Torbel® 5 mg is a loop diuretic used for the treatment of edema and hypertension in adults (starting therapeutic dose). It has prolonged action and high bioavailability.
How it works:
• Enhances diuresis — blocks the reabsorption of sodium and water in the kidneys.
• Lowers blood pressure — reduces circulating blood volume.
• Reduces edema — promotes the elimination of excess fluid.
• Preserves potassium — has a lesser effect on electrolyte balance compared to furosemide.
When to use:
• Edematous syndrome in heart failure
• Arterial hypertension (as part of combination therapy)
• Edema in renal and hepatic insufficiency
• Ascites in liver cirrhosis
Important:
• Take in the morning to prevent nighttime diuresis.
• Use with caution during pregnancy.
Provides mild and prolonged diuretic action with a convenient dosing regimen.
