Torbel® 20 mg

International Nonproprietary Name: Torasemide
Torbel® 20 mg is a loop diuretic with maximum potency for adults with severe forms of edematous syndrome (under medical supervision). It is intended for the treatment of resistant edema and severe hypertension.
How it works:
Powerfully removes excess fluid — intensively blocks sodium reabsorption in the ascending limb of the loop of Henle.
Rapidly reduces edema — provides a pronounced diuretic effect within 1−2 hours.
Reduces cardiac workload — decreases both preload and afterload on the myocardium.
When to use:
• Severe chronic heart failure (NYHA class III-IV)
• Resistant edema in liver cirrhosis with ascites
• Nephrotic syndrome with pronounced edema
• Refractory arterial hypertension
• Pulmonary edema (as part of combination therapy)
Important:
• Maximum daily dose for outpatient use.
• Do not use in severe renal failure (GFR < 30 ml/min).
Provides powerful and controlled diuresis in severe edema resistant to therapy.
