Carbamazepine Bel 200 mg is an antiepileptic medication with mood-stabilizing and analgesic effects for adults and children from 5 years of age (dosage is selected individually based on body weight).
How it works:
Stabilizes neuronal membranes — blocks sodium channels.
Reduces seizure susceptibility — suppresses the spread of epileptic impulses.
Stabilizes mood — has a mood-stabilizing (normothymic) effect.
Reduces neuropathic pain — acts on central pain mechanisms.
When to use:
• Epilepsy (partial and generalized seizures)
• Trigeminal neuralgia
