Biprolol® 2.5 mg

International Nonproprietary Name: Bisoprolol
Biprolol® 2.5 mg is a selective beta-blocker used to control blood pressure, heart rate, and to treat heart failure.
How it works:
Lowers blood pressure — blocks beta-1 adrenergic receptors in the heart and kidneys, reducing the heart rate and the force of heart contractions.
Reduces heart rate (HR) — promotes more efficient use of myocardial energy and oxygen.
Decreases myocardial oxygen demand — particularly important in ischemic heart disease.
When to use:
• Arterial hypertension
• Stable chronic heart failure
• Stable exertional angina
• Cardiac rhythm disorders (tachyarrhythmias)
Important:
• Take once daily in the morning regardless of meals, with water.
• Treatment should be started and discontinued gradually following proper dose titration; the medication should not be stopped abruptly.
Provides reliable cardioprotective effects and helps control blood pressure and heart rate, improving outcomes in cardiovascular diseases.
