Betahistine Bel 8 mg is a medication used for the treatment of vestibular disorders in adults. It is a structural analogue of histamine that improves microcirculation in the inner ear.
How it works:
Improves blood circulation — normalizes blood supply to the labyrinth of the inner ear.
Reduces dizziness — helps restore vestibular function.
Reduces tinnitus — improves microcirculation in the structures of the inner ear.
When to use:
• Ménière's disease (for relief of vertigo attacks)
• Vestibular vertigo of various origins
• Tinnitus
• Coordination disorders
Important:
• Contraindicated in pheochromocytoma and in patients with gastric or duodenal ulcer disease.
• Not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
